Symptom: When trying to view the 10-channel division in Multicam, the bottom row of the cameras show all black.
All other screen divisions show the live view without issue.
Important: Applying the incorrect patch file for your GV-DVR/NVR Setup Type could result in problems which force you to uninstall and reinstall the software.
Patch/Procedure:
Stop all monitoring and network services in GV-DVR/NVR (Multicam)
Exit out of GV-DVR/NVR
End any other GeoVision related applications running in the background
For GV-NVR (all IP cameras and no capture card is used
Download GV-NVR_V8.8.0.1.zip
Extract the .zip file
Double click to run the GV-NVR_V8.8.0.1.exe
For GV-DVR (there is a capture card used for analog cameras)
Download GV-DVR_V8.8.0.1.zip
Extract the .zip file
You will see the following items
Open the GV-DVR_NVR_Patch_Files.pdf
Determine which .exe patch file to apply based on the capture card model and version
Double click to run the particular GV-DVR patch file fits your environment
After you run the patch, you should see Updated successfully.
Click OK and relaunch GV-DVR/NVR (Multicam)
