How do I perform database repair in Multicam/VMS Viewlog?

Database repair step-by-step instruction:

1. Stop all monitoring and UNCHECK ALL GeoVision Network services including the Control Center Server before trying to run the repair.

2. Exit the software
3. Load Repair Database Utility
   Notice this example uses GV-800 folder. You can substitute for your software folder (GV-NVR, GV-VMS, GV-1480, etc)

   Note: You will receive an error message if there are any background processes still running. Open Windows Task Manager > Details tab and end anything starting with CMS, CODEC, Geo, GV, or Vlsvr before trying again.

   Check if Control Center Server is running as shown below and exit

4. Load Repair Database Utility then enter ID and Password (same as DVR/NVR/VMS ID and password)

5. Select all cameras by clicking on the select all box on the top-right, then click OK

6. Check "Reserve Never-Recycle Flag" only if you have "Never Recycle" events marked in the GV-DVR/NVR/VMS
   Optionally enable check box for Rebuild all information if there are damaged files to repair.
   Note: Leave the Rebuild all information option unchecked if you want the repair to go faster.
   To begin the repair:
   Select Use Default Path if you see your recording drives listed under Default Path. Otherwise click Search Hard disk
